Munster airports to welcome over 90,000 passengers this weekend

53,000 passengers are expected to pass through Cork Airport on the August Bank Holiday weekend.

This'll represent an 88% recovery on the same time period last year.

Meanwhile, Shannon Airport is set to welcome almost 40,000 people on the same weekend; an 87% recovery rate.

Passengers flying from Shannon will experience its new screening system, which eliminates the 100 ml rule and cuts time spent through screening by half.
