Motorists travelling in the North Kerry area this evening are being warned about the danger of possible flash flooding.
With temperatures reaching up to 24 degrees in some parts of the county, areas around Listowel have already been hit by thundery downpours.
Kerry County Council says that while there's no weather warning in place, these heavy showers can lead to potentially dangerous road conditions, and motorists should allow for this and take extra care.
