Mother speaks of devastation of looming mass eviction from Killarney community

A mother living in Killarney has spoken of the devastation of a looming mass eviction from her  community.

Dorota Kowalczyk and her family are among the 34 people, including 15 children, living in the Loreto Chapel estate, who have received eviction letters from their landlord.

The Cypriot property company, Xerico Ltd, owns 14 houses the estate.

There is no suggestion that their landlord is doing anything illegal.

Ms Kowalczyk says the mass evictions are devastating, both personally and to the wider community.

Radio Kerry has contacted Home Club, Xerico Limited and it's parent company, the pan-European real estate private equity investment firm LRC Group for comment.
