The ribbon has been cut to officially open the 13th annual Animation Dingle festival.
The event is one of Europe’s largest animation events and will attract industry leaders, animators, students and enthusiast from across the globe to West Kerry this weekend.
The two-day festival features screenings, workshops, networking opportunities and panel discussions throughout today and tomorrow.

Animation Dingle was officially opened this morning by the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability and Youth; and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD, Norma Foley.
