The Minister for Education is urging Kerry community groups to apply for a Tidy Towns top-up fund.

The government has made €1 million in funding available to support Tidy Towns groups, with €1,000 available to every eligible group.

The deadline for applications has been extended until Friday March 19th.

Minister for Education and Kerry Fianna Fáil TD Norma Foley is encouraging all community groups in Kerry to apply to avail of this funding.

Minister Foley added that while the SuperValu Tidy Towns competition didn't go ahead in 2020, the competition will take place this year in accordance with public health guidelines.
