Minister of State for the Office of Public Works is in Kerry today to officially open the Clieveragh Flood Relief Scheme.
In September, over half a million euro in funding was announced for flood mitigation measures for Listowel by Minister of State Kevin Boxer Moran.

This came following a once-in-a-150-year flooding event which occurred in the area this time last year.
Over 100 people from 70 properties had to be evacuated in Listowel and Kilocrim as a result of this flooding.
Junior Minister Kevin Boxer Moran will officially open the Clieveragh Flood Relief Scheme this afternoon.
