Weather conditions are set to deteriorate over the Halloween weekend.
Met Eireann has issued a status yellow wind warning for the entire country with some severe gusts possible from the early hours of Saturday morning to 3 o'clock that afternoon.
The national forecaster says very unsettled weather is forecast as a series of vigorous Atlantic weather systems pass close to Ireland.

Coastal flooding is also possible due to high tides, heavy rain and strong winds.
