Glenderry Coast Guard and Fenit Lifeboat at scene of a medical evacuation

A medical evacuation is currently underway in Fenit.

Valentia Coast Guard received the call this evening that a man fell into the cargo hold of a ship off of Fenit.

They tasked Glenderry Coast Guard and members of Fenit lifeboat, who are currently at the scene.

It's understood the man has suffered from a suspected broken hand, no further details are available at this time.
