Mayor of Kerry accuses Russia of political posturing

The Mayor of Kerry says Russia carrying out military exercises off the southwest coast of Ireland is political posturing.

Foreign Affairs Minister Simon Coveney has spoken to the Russian ambassador about the military drill next month 240 kilometres from Cork.

Kerry Cathaoirleach Jimmy Moloney says Ireland and the EU need to be strong in their response.
