A man is recovering in hospital after falling while walking on Carrauntoohil yesterday afternoon.
Valentia Coast Guard co-ordinated the rescue of the man, who is believed to have suffered a number of injuries.
The Rescue 115 helicopter airlifted the man to safety at around half past 8 last night and he was taken to University Hospital Kerry.
