A man in his forties is recovering after being rescued from Carrauntoohil yesterday evening.
Valentia Coast Guard received the call at around 2pm and deployed the Shannon-based Rescue 115 helicopter.
Members of the Kerry Mountain Rescue team assisted the man and brought him to the helicopter.
He was airlifted to the Hag's Glen and is recovering from minor injuries.
