Temperatures are expected to drop to as low as minus four degrees in parts of the country, with a number of status yellow warnings issued.
Donegal will be subject to a snow and ice alert from 8pm today until 11am tomorrow, and again on Saturday and Sunday nights, along with Cavan, Monaghan, Louth and Connacht.
A night-time low temperature and ice warning will impact Kerry and the rest of the country tomorrow from 6pm to 11am on Sunday.
