The organisers of Listowel Writers’ Week have paid tribute to its volunteers.
A joint statement from the literary festival, Kerry Writers’ Museum, and St John’s Theatre & Arts Centre honoured those who give up their time.
Over 50 volunteers are involved in this year’s event, which takes place from May 28th until June 1st.

They were praised for their time, commitment and warmth in making the town a special place to visit, and added without the volunteers there simply wouldn’t be a festival.
