Listowel Credit Union has become the latest lender to join the Government-backed home energy upgrade loan scheme.
The €500 million scheme aims to make residential energy upgrades more accessible and affordable for eligible homeowners.
It provides unsecured loans ranging from €5,000 to €75,000, with repayment terms of up to 10 years.

Listowel Credit Union has two branches, in Listowel and Ballybunion, and approximately 16,700 members.
Listowel Credit Union is now taking applications for the loan, with interest rates starting from 4.5%.
