Labour candidate Mike Kennedy says the number of children awaiting therapies is shameful.
According to figures released to Mr Kennedy through a Labour parliamentary question, there are 4,042 children awaiting therapies across the Kerry Local Health Office.
He says the fact over 1,500 are waiting more than a year is also unacceptable.

The Labour candidate says this demands immediate action by the government.
