Killorglin-based fintech and services company Fexco has announced a major acquisition in the UK.
Fexco Group has acquired Sainsbury’s Travel Money, extending Fexco’s retail presence to more than 460 locations across the UK.
Fexco says the acquisition will strengthen Fexco’s position in the UK market, and significantly enhance its digital and in-store offering.
Sainsbury's offers customers the opportunity to buy, exchange or order foreign currency, online, on the phone, or at any of its stores with a bureau in it.
The company will assume full responsibility for the Sainsbury’s Travel Money business, including its digital platforms and channels.
Integration of the Sainsbury’s Travel Money brand and services is planned for early next year, and Fexco says customers can expect continued excellent service.
