Killarney man facing terminal cancer after delayed diagnosis urges people not to give up on medical treatment concerns
Tony McNabb settled a claim stemming from a delayed cancer diagnosis at Bon Secours Hospital, Tralee. The settlement was reached through mediation. His solicitor Rachael O'Shaughnessy of HOMS Assist says the current obligation for medical providers to provide open disclosure in such cases is too restrictive.

A Killarney man whose lung cancer diagnosis was delayed has urged people not to give up if they have concerns over their medical treatment.

Tony McNabb recently settled a claim through mediation for a six-figure sum against the Bon Secours relating to the delayed diagnosis of his cancer.

Mr McNabb is facing a terminal prognosis at just 59 years of age.
