Labour Cllr and long-time member of the Killarney Musical Society, Marie Moloney, has recalled Jessie Buckley having potential from a very early age.
The Killarney actress won an IFTA for her performance in Hamnet.

She is also nominated in the upcoming Oscars and BAFTAs for the role.
Hamnet won several awards last night; the film won Best International Film and Script Film and Best Supporting Actor also went to Paul Mescal for his performance
Meanwhile, Tralee writer Ailbhe Keogan won the award for Best Script Drama for her 4 –part series, Trespasses.
