Kerry TD says it’s unfair people on illness benefit don’t qualify for additional payments

Kerry TD, Danny-Healy Rae says it’s unfair that people on illness benefit, who are finding it hard to make ends meet, don’t qualify for additional payments.

The Independent deputy knows many people either on illness or other benefits, that aren’t entitled to the €200 cost of living payment and the fuel allowance.

He’s raised the matter in the Dáil several times, as he believes it’s very unfair.
