The Department of Agriculture has announced it will support the Kerry Social Farming Project for the next year. The initiative run by South Kerry Development

The Department of Agriculture has announced it will support the Kerry Social Farming Project for the next year.

The initiative run by South Kerry Development Partnership gives people with disabilities the opportunity to engage with farm families and the community.

Funding of €360,000 will be allocated to the Kerry project and other initiatives in Leitrim and Cork.

€400,000 is to be given to the continuing development of a national social farming network.
