Kerry recorded the highest number of wet days in Ireland last month.
That’s according to Met Éireann’s climate statement for July.
It shows Valentia Observatory recorded 18 wet days in the month - which is classified as a day with 1mm or more of rainfall.
According to the report, the air temperature at the South Kerry weather station was 0.6 degrees above average for July, at a mean temperature of 15.9 celsius.
Nationally, last month was the ninth warmest July on record.
