Kerry got the eighth highest allocation of funds to maintain regional and local roads of all 31 local authorities this year.
In February, the Department of Transport announced €718 million to improve and maintain regional and local roads nationwide.
Cork County Council got the most of any Irish local authority at over €78 million (€78,060,500), followed by Tipperary at over €49 million (€49,379,670).
Limerick City and County Council got the 6th most at nearly €39 million (€38,907,332), and Clare County Council was seventh with almost €32 million (€31,788,700).
Kerry County Council got over €31 million, placing it eighth nationwide, and 5th among the seven local authorities in Munster.
