A South Kerry nursing home has received a positive report from the health watchdog.
The Health Information and Quality Authority carried out an unannounced inspection at St Joseph's Home, Kenmare on January 15th and 16th.
Inspectors found the centre to be fully compliant across 14 areas of the Health Act 2007; and substantially compliant in one category (medicines and pharmaceutical services).
HIQA noted that residents were supported to enjoy a good quality of life, while the centre was adequately staffed to meet resident’s needs.
