Kerry MEP says clocks should stay forward after they change tonight

The clocks go forward by an hour tonight, and Kerry MEP Seán Kelly says they should stay that way.

In 2019 the European Parliament voted in favour of scrapping daylight savings from 2021, but the member states can't agree whether the continent should remain on summer, or winter time.

The Ireland South MEP has written to European Commission President Ursula Von der Leyen, asking her to resolve this issue.

MEP Seán Kelly says some member states are preventing summer time from being kept all year round.
