The Kerry Mental Health Association is hosting its annual Tie Day Friday event today on World Mental Health Day.
Throughout the day a nine-hour Irish dancing marathon will take place outside Kirby’s Brogue Inn, Tralee.
It’ll be led by five-time World Champion David Geaney.
People are being urged to wear a tie and join the dance marathon.
Funds raised will toward the Kerry Mental Health Association which provides information and advocates for anyone with mental health difficulties.
The association also supporting the provision of education and training programmes that promote good mental health and wellbeing.
