Kerry Library is encouraging people to take part in Ireland Reads Day, a national day of reading, this Thursday (February 25th).
The campaign has been running in libraries nationwide throughout this month with initiatives ranging from book clubs to getting to know local authors events taking place online.
It’s part of the Government’s Keep Well initiative and aims to encourage everyone to make time to read something this Thursday, whether it’s a book, magazine or newspaper.
Kerry county librarian, Tommy O’Connor says everyone from avid readers to the more reluctant readers can take part.
