Kerry Labour spokesperson calls for one stop shop for notifying deaths to public bodies

Kerry’s Labour representative has called for a ‘Tell Us Once’ service to be introduced in Ireland for notifying a death to government bodies.

Tralee activist, Ben Slimm, has backed the Labour Party’s call to create a one stop shop to support family members when they engage with social protection and other public services after a loved one passes away.

Mr Slimm said the UK’s ‘Tell Us Once’ service allows you to report a death to most government organisations in one go which he says is kinder for bereaved families.
