The county chair of the Kerry branch of the Irish Farmers Association has appealed to farmers to stay vigilant during the ongoing search for missing Kenmare man Michael Gaine.
Mr Gaine was last seen in Kenmare town on Thursday morning, and volunteers and local authorities have been searching the Carrig East area of Kenmare.

Jason Fleming, chair of the IFA in Kerry, has praised the efforts of locals and IFA members in the search for the missing man, and has asked that farmers in the area stay alert and report anything out of the ordinary.
Michael, who also goes by Mike, is described as being approximately 5 feet 10 inches tall with a stocky build, brown/grey hair and a bushy beard.
He was last seen wearing an orange woolly hat, black fleece, blue jeans and black boots.
