Kerry has among the lowest survival rates of breast cancer of all 26 counties in the Republic.
Data from the National Cancer Registry of Ireland released to Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín shows Kerry had a survival rate of 82.7% for invasive female breast cancer over the last five years.
This is the second lowest of any county, behind just Limerick, while it is also below the national average of 87.3%, and 12% lower than the survival rate in Cavan.
The NCRI says the variation likely reflects possible socioeconomic and geographic disparities in care pathways, and differences in access to treatment.
Aontú leader Peadar Tóibín has said we should not have a geographical postcode or economic divide on whether people live or die from cancer.
