Kerry Fianna Fáil TD calls for an air ambulance base

A Fianna Fáil TD for Kerry is calling for an air ambulance base in Kerry.

Deputy Michael Cahill is proposing for an air ambulance to be located at Valentia Coast Guard in conjunction with the national service.

Deputy Cahill says due to accessibility issues in West and South Kerry, an air ambulance would be of benefit to Kerry.

Mr Cahill says he's submitted a parliamentary question on the proposal.
