A Kerry Fianna Fáil councillor says now is the time for cool heads within the party.
Pressure is building on Fianna Fáil’s leader, Taoiseach Micheál Martin, from within the party following their failed attempt at contesting the presidential election with Jim Gavin.
A review of the party's presidential election campaign is taking place, and is due to be completed on November 12th.
Fianna Fáil councillor in the Kenmare Municipal District, Tommy Cahill, says people are jumping the gun and this is insulting to Micheál Martin.
Cllr Cahill says the time for discussion will be when the review of the presidential campaign is finished.
