Kerry County Council is advising people to drive with care during the status yellow snow-ice warning.

Met Éireann has issued the warning for the whole country; it’s valid from valid from 6pm tomorrow (Saturday) until midday on Sunday.

The council says all major routes will be salted overnight, but is advising people to take extra care if they must travel as falls of sleet and snow along with icy and hazardous conditions are expected.
