Kerry county councillors have approved funding allocations to 33 festivals and groups under the Arts Act Grant.
Over €40,000 in funding has been split across 33 successful applicants, following a public call out in November last year, which was open until January.
The council provides funding under the Arts Act for activities or projects to stimulate public interest, promote knowledge, or improve standards in the arts.
Among the larger allocations are €4,000 for the National Circus Festival of Ireland’s event in Tralee, €4,000 for K-Fest in Killorglin, and €2,200 for the Nonfaction concert series in Tralee.
Festivals and groups across all municipal districts were awarded funding.
