A Kerry County Councillor is urging the Higher Education Minister to urgently revisit the issue of students who deferred going to third level after sitting

A Kerry County Councillor is urging the Higher Education Minister to urgently revisit the issue of students who deferred going to third level after sitting the Leaving Cert in 2019.

The Fianna Fáil councillor says the inflation of grades and the subsequent increase in points means that those who sat the Leaving Cert in 2019 may now not be able to go to third level or have to take a course they don't want.
