A Kerry councillor is appealing to people to park safely and sensibly at beaches around the county.

 

Fianna Fáil councillor Norma Moriarty says it took an ambulance 40 minutes to exit Kells beach yesterday after someone required medical assistance.

The Fianna Fail councillor is asking people not to park in lay-bys and turning tables.

Cllr Moriarty says bad parking at beaches causes gridlock and causes significant delays in allowing access for emergency vehicles.
