Kerry Co-op is to hold a Special General Meeting later this year to discuss and vote on a number of rule changes.
The co-op held its AGM yesterday.
Earlier this year, discussions between Kerry Co-op and Kerry Group plc on a potential joint venture dairy business deal were suspended; it's understood those talks have not resumed.
This week, Kerry Group plc reached a €819 million deal with Pilgrim's Pride Corporation to sell its consumer foods' meats and meals business in Ireland and the UK.
It added that a strategic review of the dairy business has been completed and there will be no disposal of the dairy business at this time.
In a statement, Kerry Co-op says proposed resolutions will be brought to its Advisory Committees in July with the Special General Meeting likely taking place in August or September; no date has been decided upon.
