Kerry angling group raises €10,000 for local charity

A Kerry angling group has raised almost €10,000 at an annual charity angling event in April.

The Lough Léin Anglers Association's Open Wet Fly Charity Angling Competition raised the funds for the Killarney and South Kerry branch of the Irish Wheelchair Association.

To date the Charity has raised in excess of €300,000 for local and national charities.

The main supporter of the event is Lee Strand Cooperative Creameries Limited.
