JNLR survey shows increase in radio listenership

Radio Kerry remains the most listened to radio station in Kerry according to the latest radio listenership figures.

86,000 people listen to Radio Kerry on a weekly basis.

The latest JNLR/Ipsos survey reveals that Irish radio is enjoying its highest audience ever.

The report covering the period from April 2024 to March 2025 shows that radio is enjoying record levels of listenership, with 3.94 million people now tuning in every week — an increase of 128,000 listeners compared to the same 12-month period previously. Despite competition from a wide range of media, Irish people have a deep passion for live radio and are listening in growing numbers across both broadcast and online platforms

90% of all adults and 85% of 15–34-year-olds listen to radio every week.

Radio Kerry General Manager, Fiona Stack, thanked listeners and advertisers for their continued loyalty to the station.
