An Italian tourist was rescued along the cliff side pathway in Ballybunion over the weekend.
The woman fell and broke her ankle along the steep route, leaving her unable to move.
Ballybunion Sea and Cliff Rescue along with help from Kerry County Council lifeguards stretchered her from the cliff side to their medical treatment room in the boathouse on the Ladies Beach.

Once treated she was transferred to University Hospital Kerry.
