IFA calls for extra vigilance to prevent fires this Bank Holiday weekend

Farmers are being asked to do their bit in helping to prevent forest fires this Bank Holiday weekend.

It follows wildfires in Killarney National Park and the Mourne Mountains last weekend.

The Irish Farmers' Association is making the appeal for extra vigilance due to the recent dry weather spell.
