Home to Other Voices to benefit from Adopt a Monument scheme

A building in Kerry is to benefit from Heritage Council’s Adopt a Monument scheme.

St James’ Church in Dingle, home to the Other Voices Music Festival, is one of five monuments selected across the country.

The communities will be offered expertise and mentoring to help them care for their local heritage.

Chief Executive of the Heritage Council, Virginia Teehan says the sites chosen represent important aspects of Ireland’s heritage.
