A helmet worn by Kerry rally driver Paul Nagle has made €25,000 at a charity auction.

The Aghadoe man used the helmet during the 2021 World Rally Championship winning season.

It was bought by New York based Irish rally driver Paul Rowley for €25,000.

Nearly €40,000 was raised during the auction, which was part of Kerry Motor Club's 50th anniversary Déjà Vu celebration.

Cancer charity, Recovery Haven Kerry is the main beneficiary of the fundraising effort.
