A trade union representative for health care assistants in Kerry has welcomed an WRC agreement with the HSE, averting strike action.
Kerry health care assistants had been due to strike in Kerry next week (26th February), after voting in favour of industrial action in January.
Local implementation and oversight groups will be established to ensure the agreement is implemented without delay.
SIPTU organiser, Natasha Linehan Tracey, said the dispute centred around terms and conditions.
