Green MEP says beauty of the South-West is unparalleled

A Green MEP is encouraging people to spend their summer holidays in Ireland, adding the beauty of the South-West is unparalleled.

Earlier this week, the European Parliament voted to create the Digital Green Certificate, which will allow people to potentially travel within Europe this summer with a document proving they are COVID-free.

MEP Grace O'Sullivan hopes it'll help support the hospitality and tourism industries.

She adds there are huge economic benefits if people holiday in the south of the country.
