Glenbeigh Races cancelled following tragic death of jockey

A young jockey has died following a tragic accident at Glenbeigh Races.

The tragedy occurred at around 5 this evening but there’s been no official confirmation as of yet by Gardai.

It’s believed the deceased was a teenage boy, and was not local.

No further details are currently available.

Glenbeigh Races have been cancelled tomorrow as a mark of respect.
