A week on from the last sighting of Michael Gaine, Gardaí have issued a fresh appeal for anyone with any information on the Kenmare man’s whereabouts to come forward.
56-year-old Michael Mike Gaine was last seen last Thursday morning in Centra in Kenmare; he was reported missing last Friday.
Checkpoints are being carried out in Kenmare today as Gardaí attempt to gather more information about his whereabouts and trace his last known movements.
Vehicles are being stopped and spoken to by Gardai on the junction of the N70 and N71, where Mr Gaine was last seen on CCTV footage.
