Gardaí appeal for information following North Kerry theft by criminals travelling from Dublin

An Garda Síochána are urging the public to take precautions to reduced the risk of burglary.

It follows the theft of a vehicle from North Kerry by criminals travelling from Dublin over the Bank Holiday Weekend.

Gardaí are appealing for information after a car was stolen from a property on the Ballybunion Road in Listowel at around 4am on Sunday morning.

Sergeant Lynda Brosnan says the house was entered and the keys to the grey Hyundai Santa Fe were taken from the house.

The vehicle was recovered the following day in Dublin.

Sergeant Brosnan made this appeal for information:

Meanwhile, An Garda Síochána are reminding the public to take simple precautions to reduce the risk of burglary.

These include switching on alarms and locking windows and doors at night.
