Five people have lost their lives on Kerry roads so far this year.

Nationally, 130 people have died on Irish roads during the first nine months of this year; that’s the highest number in six years.

In Kerry last year, eight people lost their lives on the county’s road, while six people died in crashes in Kerry in 2021 according to figures from the Road Safety Authority.
