It’s being reported that the EU will add a major shareholder of a West Limerick company to its next round of sanctions.

The FT says the bloc will target Russian oligarch Oleg Deripaska who owns shares in Rusal which is Russia’s largest aluminium producer.

Rusal owns Aughinish Alumina which employs 450 people, most of whom live in West Limerick and North Kerry.
