An elderly woman was taken to hospital after being hit by a car in North Kerry yesterday.
Gardaí and emergency services were tasked to Market Street in Listowel just before 2.30pm.
Gardaí say a car collided with a pedestrian, a woman in her 80s, and she sustained non-life threatening injuries.

She was taken to University Hospital Kerry for treatment.
The road was closed for a time but has since reopened.
